The True 850827 (37T21) high temperature cutout switch carries out the important function of shutting off the defrost heaters in your unit if the temperature in the freezer cabinet gets too high. This allows the defrost heaters to complete the job of preventing frost buildup while also keeping the temperature within your freezer at a safe level for your products. The high temp cutout is wired in series with the defrost coil heater. The True 850827 (37T21) high temperature cutout switch has 2 black leads measuring 29 inches long.
