Most sliding doors have a special type of gasket called a wiper gasket that differs in style from a standard swing door gasket. Wiper gaskets like the True 872553 are designed to slide back and forth with the door rather than remaining stationary like a standard swing door gasket. Although their operation is different than that of swing door gaskets, wiper gaskets maintain the same purpose of creating an airtight seal between the inside of the unit and the outside of the unit. The True 872553 wiper gasket kit comes with two wiper gaskets, four pop rivets, and tape backing. This kit is designed to work with True GDM and TSD units.
