The True 800801 compressor drier uses charcoal to gather moisture out of the refrigerant gas inside your refrigeration system, preventing it from harming the expensive components of your system. Moisture inside the refrigeration system of your True freezer, cooler, or refrigerator is a major problem because it can allow ice to build up and can encourage corrosion and chemical damage to the insulation of your hermetic compressor. Driers can only hold so much water and must be replaced anytime the refrigeration system of your appliance is opened up. The True 800801 replacement drier has two inlets (5/16" and 3/8") and one outlet (3/16").
